Summer Time, Swimsuit Time!

Hot Swimsuit

Summer is coming. Now it’s the time for swimsuits shopping. Before buy any swimsuits or swimwear, you have to determine what model you like, based on your personality. I’m a shy girl who like modest swimsuit, so I prefer women’s swimwear one piece model with sarong. That’s why the high neck once piece swimsuit as shown above really suits me.

For women who are bold, funky, and stylish, Bikini will suit you. However, before wear any bikini, you have to do some sit up first to tone your body. I’m too lazy to exercise, so I chose one piece swimwear instead. However, bikini is really appealing. You will looked really sexy if you wear bikini, combined with sunglasses, you will looked fabulous! Oh yeah, don’t forget to choose the nice barthing suit too!

If you have bigger body, there are swimsuits collections by christina swimwear. The sample swimsuit is shown below. The picture shows a girl wear two piece swimsuit, but not the bikini. You can wear the two piece swimsuits that cover your tummy, and you will looked slimmer in that swimsuit! As you can see, the chubby girl who wear that swimsuit looked really fabulous in that swimear.

Last word for me: Let’s face summer and get some fun!

The 1970’s

This article continues from article of Trends of the 1970’s. Enjoy :)

Fashion continues to evolve from decade to decade, creating its own unique fashion trends and statement. The 1970’s were no different in sense that they created their own unique fashion legacy. However, the 70’s may have been a defining decade for fashion, and is seen by many as an anything goes decade.

Mini skirts, maxi skirts and hot pants could all be found in the closets of women. The empire line dress was very popular, coming in both the mini skirt style and knee length style. Evening wear was usually a halter top in combination with evening pants or a maxi skirt. Styles ranged from anything from clunky and big to feminine and soft. The 70’s was a time of great political importance, with feminist protests, the Vietnam War, and Watergate inspiring designers to create cutting edge, yet comfortable items.

What not to Wear

Dress beautifully

If you are like me, then you probably can’t stand people with no sense of style. I see people and I just think to myself what were they thinking when they got dressed this morning. To make sure you aren’t one of the people that has no sense of style, I have created a list of what no to where.

First on the list, high waisted points. Unlike the high waisted skirt, high waisted pants are uncomfortable, and overall on attractive on most, if not all people.

Next up, cropped winter jackets, you know, the ones without the sleeves. You could get away with wearing one of you live in Florida or California, but anywhere else its not such a good idea.

Empire waist dresses. Looks nice for a tall slim woman, for anyone else, “Is she pregnant?”

And finally, tent dresses. Though they can sometimes look good on models, for anyone else they just look like, well, tents.

Shawls: The Most Popular accessory

Shawl

The hottest and most popular accessory nowadays seems to be the shawl.  Most of this popularity comes from the fact that people aren’t heating their homes like they used to, or businesses are leaving their offices cooler than before.

Whatever the reason, shawls are in and fashion designers have reinvented the shawl, taking it from the cotton or wool shawl your grandma may have knitted or wore, and upgrading it with thrilling new fibers and styles.  You can buy shawls with all sorts of metallics, jewels, beads, and fibers woven into the material.  Additionally, a shawl is a great way to disguise body flaws, including broad shoulders.  If you want to disguise a pudgy tummy or large behind, try wrapping a shawl around your waste or hips.

Shoes

pair of shoes

We all know how women get with shoes, and for good reason.  One of the most important accessories to any outfit is a good pair of shoes.  You can take a plain and boring outfit, and bring it to the next level if you compliment it with the right pair of shoes.  For example, for a night out, you can take a regular pair of jeans, compliment it with a sexy pair of stilettos, and you instantly have taken an outfit that was drab and boring, to exciting and hot.

Likewise, you can take the boring and dull business suit you wear to work everyday, and give it some oomph with a sexy pair of heels.  Shoes are the perfect accessory, and the right shoes to compliment the right outfit can take your wardrobe to the next level, without having to spend lots of money.

Trends of the 1970’s

1970 Style Prom Dress

The 1970’s saw many fashion changes and innovations for both men and women.  In 1972, Nike was established.  Nike had a very strong site, although the athletic craze was not as big as it is today.  Running shoes become a more popular choice for both men and women as they were comfortable, long lasting, casual, and could be worn around the house or out on the town.  Other fashion trends included boas, slinky shirts, as well as blouses, all of which became popular with celebrities and musicians.

People also began experimenting with their hair.  Popularized by Farrah Fawcett, hair styles were generally long and straight, with wings that took hours of styling with a straightening iron, curling iron, mousse, and hairspray.  Any physical activity would result in a ruined hairstyle.   Afro perms also became popular as they needed little maintenance and only a pick to fluff them.

Jackets

Women Jacket

When most people think of accessories, they think of jewelry, purses, and maybe their shoes.  But how many of us think of a jacket as an accessory.  The truth is, a jacket can be the perfect accessory to any outfit.  Additionally, a jacket can also be used to cover some figure flaws; maybe you have some unflattering weight around your stomach or bottom.  Plus, jackets will never go out of style.

A jacket is also a good way to update your outfit without having to spend a fortune.  Take a new jacket and an old skirt and there you have it, a totally new outfit, but at an affordable price.  Additionally, a vintage jacket adds personality and pizzazz to your outfit, and is a great way to accessorize.  So if you are looking to update an old outfit, or maybe you just want to add to your wardrobe, a jacket is a great way to do it.

Jeweled Flip Flops

Jewel Flip Flop

The hottest accessory for the summer is the jeweled flip flop.  They are perfect, whether you are going to the beach, hanging out by the pool, or even for something to wear on the town.  The most popular of the jeweled flip flops is the Twisted Heart Flip Flop, which features a jewel heart that is stitched on to the flip flop.  However, the Twisted Heart Flip Flop does not sacrifice comfort for fashion, so you won’t find a more comfortable pair of flip flops.

Twisted Heart Flip Flops come in a variety of colors, including pink, silver, and white.  Additionally, the design sets them apart from the traditional flip flop.  Another innovative flip flop is the Royal Plush Flip Flop.  It has a strap that is decorated in white crystals, and has the Royal Plush trademark, letting everyone know that you appreciate quality and style.

Wide Belts

If you are going to wear a wide belt, the key is to wear it high. The ideal place is right under the breastbone. The whole idea of a wide belt is to emphasis your upper body and cinch your waist. If you wear a wide belt correctly, it can be extremely flattering. And better yet, a wide belt can hide any extra weight without the need to go to a gym.

Like any fashion accessory, there are fashion no no’s, and a wide belt is no different. It is important to remember to avoid purchasing a cheap looking belt made from synthetic material. Similarly, if you feel that the belt is too tight and you are having problems breathing, it’s probably a good idea to find a belt that fits properly. Also, try not to wear your belt too low as it is anything but flattering. And try to keep in mind that the belt is the focal point of your outfit, so don’t over accessorize with too much jewelry.
