Summer is here along with the question what sunglasses is everyone going to be wearing? All the kids (and grownups) want to look the part with the latest sunglasses and every year we see new trends emerge. Do you remember what caught the nation last summer, the Ray-Ban Wayfarer? The question is what are we seeing this year.

The sunglasses market is huge and consumer trends are heavily influenced by what celebrities are sporting. Has anyone else noticed a lot of people this summer seem to be wearing round glasses? I certainly have! This year we have seen many celebrities wearing round glasses, we have seen this on the catwalk to many top celebrities wearing their favourite round glasses designer around town. So of course everyone else has jumped on the bandwagon. Round glasses have been dipping in and out of fashion for years and of course first made famous by icons such as John Lennon and Elton John so its not to surprising they have made return this summer,

We are seeing designers follow these trends. Police sunglasses meet the demand by stocking a wide variety of designs including round glasses and last year’s Ray-Bans. In today’s market you are now able to get even more designer glasses on prescription! Police glasses offer many of their designer glasses with prescription use which is allowing even more people to wear the style they want. The high street plays the biggest part by allowing people to get designer look sunglasses for half the price. And round glasses have definitely been flying off the high street shelves.

Personally dont quite see the fascination but not to worry Im sure there will something even cooler just around the corner for all the hype to start again.
