With the Noughties well and truly behind us now (for the better I think) we can now look forward, or not look forward to some of the biggest trends that are to come into 2010 and take the world by storm.

SO what are the trends of 2010 and why now of all times?

Interior Design

People are not prepared to waste money anymore and when it comes to furniture they want quality which is apparently why people are not going to bigger shops this year where is that MFI now. It looks like this year people are going retro with their furniture and looking for 60s pieces because they last longer. Bedroom furniture is set to be on the top of the list this year with white wardrobes being a must have. Dining room furniture is the next room on the list apparently.

Beauty

Are you a scruff, well if you are 2010 is the year for you as bed hair is set to come into fashion once again, great for people like me. Rather strange is that grey hair and bold eyebrows are set to be in fashion as well as the shaved head, how about shaved head and bold eyebrows. shaving your head at the moment would not be a good idea, more cold weather is on the way!

Fitness

At the moment it doesnt look like the way people work out is going to change that much this year, no more 40yr old women trying out pole dancing thank the lord. However group fitness is going to be big this year.

Travel

It looks like the year for staying at home in a boring, rather rubbish cottage is over and this year we are set to go away to luxurious destinations again which I think is certainly a very big welcome to the giant airlines.

It certainly seems that money has a lot to do with the trends this year, you can see that we are coming out of a recession as the trends are starting to get a bit more expensive.
